Larry is an experienced counselor who works with individuals, couples, and families who are experiencing life changes, trauma, losses, transitions and distractions to help them to successfully navigate through their life journey. His specialties are loss and grief, relationship issues, post trauma transformation, life transitions, and sexual addictions. He sees his job as walking alongside clients companioning them through difficult and dark emotional times in their lives. Larry is a frequent blogger, typically writing about grief. Larry became a counselor after experiencing the deaths of his 37 year old wife Cindy and two-year-old daughter Katie in a multi-car accident in May 1993. Determined to help others through life changes, loss and grief, Larry earned two Masters degrees, one in Biblical Studies and the other in Counseling. He is certified by the Association for Death Education and Counseling (ADEC). He has earned certification for Death and Grief Studies through the Center for Loss and Life Transition.


Larry is a Christian counselor who believes his goal for the client is to help each person to move toward their own solutions giving them the abundant life that God wants for them. He believes this is possible without preaching, evangelizing or forcing beliefs on clients. His counseling style is supportive, encouraging and non-confrontational.
